  • Therapy Session

Sessions usually last 50 minutes with some time included for handover with school staff or parents. Sessions usually take place in the child's school or at your home. Each session is planned around your child's specific targets, whether that's speech sounds, understanding and using language, or wider communication skills. I keep activities practical and playful so children stay engaged, and I'll always share what we've worked on and what you can try at home. Blocks of x6 sessions are usually a good starting point, but we can discuss your child's individual needs if that setup doesn't fit for you.

  • Detailed assessment & in depth report

This appointment provides a thorough, in-depth assessment of your child’s communication skills. It includes a wider range of assessment tools and structured observation to build a clear and detailed picture of your child’s strengths and needs. Following the session, you will receive a comprehensive written report. This includes an in-depth explanation of the assessment findings, specific outcomes and targets, and more of a structured plan that schools and teachers can use to support your child’s progress. The report offers clear recommendations for home and school, as well as guidance that can be used for SENCO discussions, SEND reviews or future referrals. This option is ideal for families looking for a detailed understanding of their child’s communication profile and a clear, trackable plan for what should happen next. You'll usually receive your full written report within 10-14 days of the appointment.

  • Basic assessment with short form report

This appointment includes a focused assessment of your child’s communication skills, designed to give you a clear overview of their strengths and areas of need. It’s a shorter option for families who want quick clarity and practical next steps. After the session, you’ll receive a one–two page short-form report summarising the findings, along with simple, easy-to-follow recommendations for home and school. This type of assessment is ideal if you need a professional opinion, guidance on what to do next, or support to share with your child’s teacher or SENCO. You'll usually receive your written report within 7–10 days of the appointment.
